Donegal Deputy Joe McHugh has welcomed the announcement of 12.5 billion euro in funding for the Agriculture and rural sectors.
The money – which comes from Common Agricultural Policy and exchequer funding will be dispersed between now and 20-20.
Along with direct payments to farmers there will also be schemes for farm investment to grow the indigenous food and drink industry.
