Donegal could be the walking capital of Ireland – Slowey

A Donegal Councillor has called for progress to be made on developing the county’s old unused railway network for walkers and cyclists.
Old railway lines in Co Mayo have been successfully redeveloped for walking and cycling, and this has resulted in a huge boost for tourism there.
Cllr Terence Slowey says Donegal has the potential to become the walking capital of Ireland
And he says these walkways and cycle ways would bring a huge influx of tourists here and benefit landowners……….
