An Grianán Theatre in Letterkenny has been named “Ulster Live Music Venue of the Year” by IMRO, the music rights organisation.
Theatre Director Patricia Mc Bride says many artists have said An Grianan is one of their favourite venues in which to play, reflecting the theatre’s philosophy that it’s not about making the most money, it’s about providing the best possible experience for the audience and the artist.
She says the award is recognition of the financial investment in the theatre and the dedication and hard work of its staff.
Marketing Manager Daithi Ramsey says having been nominated every year since 2008, it was a shock to find out that An Grianan has finally won……..
