Groups lobby to make it illegal to buy sex

 
Almost 70 groups involved in the Turn Off the Red Light campaign will be lobbying politicians today to make it illegal to buy sex.
The Immigrant Council of Ireland says it’s vital in ending prostitution and sex trafficking in Ireland.
The ICI has released an interview with a woman who was trafficked here from Moldova when she was just 15.
‘Hannah’ – not her real name – details one occasion when she was caught by gardai.
“When I was 16 I was working in a place in Rathmines; so the guard came there in the afternoon, they asked us for ID – I showed him my fake ID, gave it back to me and they said ‘get your stuff and get out of the premises” she said.
“I mean come on, you could see I was a little child” she added.
