Future bright for Ballybofey Football Club as land dispute is settled

The future of Ballybofey United Football Club is positive after an agreement was reached to secure the club a new 3.4 acre site.
That’s according to club secretary Gary Foy who spoke after an agreement was reached that they would pay the Butt Hall Trust 25 thousand euro for the land.
There was a legal dispute between the two parties after the Butt Hall Trust sold land which Ballybofey United used and claimed to have a right to.
Secretary of Ballybofey FC Gary Foy says they are pleased the matter is now settled and fundraising work is already underway to develop their new land:
