Letterkenny General again one of the most overcrowded hospitals in the country

Figures released by the Irish Nurse and Midwives Organisation today show that Letterkenny General Hospital is AGAIN one of the most overcrowded hospital in the country today.
21 people are currently waiting on trolleys and ‘in wards’ in Letterkenny General today – 17 on trolleys and 4 ‘in wards’.
Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda is the most overcrowded with 28 patients on trolleys and ‘in wards’ while University Hospital Galway also has 21 people on trolley and ‘in wards’.
Earlier this week Letterkenny General Hospital was the most overcrowded hospital in the country with a total of 29 recorded by the INMO on Wednesday.
