Irish amateur Paul Dunne was among the players to secure a place at this year’s Open Championship – winning Tuesday’s qualifying tournament in Woburn.
The Greystones man carded consecutive rounds of 67 to lead the qualifiers by three.
The 21-year-old will now take his place in the field at Royal Liverpool alongside Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell, Padraig Harrington, Darren Clarke and Shane Lowry.
The Open Championship commences on Thursday 17 July.
