Ulster’s Henderson major doubt for November games

Irish RugbyIain Henderson has emerged as a major doubt for Ireland’s November International Series.

The 22-year-old Ulster forward has been told that he’ll require surgery on a hip injury that is set to delay his start to the new season, with some reports suggesting that he may not be available to return to action until the start of the new year.

In a further blow to the province, Jared Payne also has a hip problem – but the versatile back is only facing a two-week lay-off.
