Man due in court on rape charge following Derry attack

A 20-year-old man has been charged with rape following an attack in Derry on Friday.
A 23-year-old woman remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital following an assault at Glenabbey Drive.
The man has also been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and a number of other offences.
He is expected to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court later on Monday.
