The Republic of Ireland players have been arriving into camp in Dublin today ahead of the Euro 2016 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Germany – but manager Martin O’Neill already looks set to be without three key players.
James McCarthy, Seamus Coleman and Shay Given are already set to miss this Saturday’s match-up against Gibraltar, while the trio are also unlikely to be available for next Tuesday’s trip to Germany.
McCarthy has been ruled-out of this weekend’s game because of a quad muscle injury and is also expected to sit-out the trip to Gelsenkirchen.
Coleman faces a race against time to be available for that match against the World Champions because of concussion while Given is struggling to overcome a hip injury.
