Gardai in Letterkenny have confirmed they are questioning two men about last week’s arson attack on the Orange Hall and Presbyterian Church in Convoy.
The men were detained last night.
The blaze was discovered during the early hours of last Friday morning. The main hall was gutted in the fire and the roof was destroyed. It was the second orange hall to be burnt down in Co Donegal in the past three weeks, following an attack on the hall in Newtowncunningham in September.
The local Presbyterian Church was also targeted, but the damage was less serious.
