Derry City set cup an F.A.I Ford cup final showdown with St Pats last night with a late surge against Shamrock Rovers.
Two goals in the last four minutes put City deservedly in the final.
Michael Duffy poked a shot home inside the box on 86 minutes and Rory Patterson made sure of the win in the 90th minute when he drilled in Stephen Dooley's short pass 15 yards out.
Patterson missed a penalty on 63 minutes. This was given after he'd been fouled in the box by defender Jason Mc Guinness, who was also shown a second yellow card for the foul.
The final is at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday 2nd November.
