O’Rourke to stay with Monaghan for another three seasons

Malachy O RourkeMalachy O’Rourke was last night ratified for a third year in charge of the Monaghan senior footballers.
O’Rourke and his back room team have also agreed to stay in place for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
In the past two seasons they have secured successive promotions in the Allianz League, captured the Anglo Celt Cup in 2013 after a 25 year break and reached the All Ireland Quarter Finals in both seasons.
The county’s Under 21 manager Finbarr Fitzpatrick will next year share the role with Tyrone’s Ciarán McBride.
