Donegal County Council has confirmed that no council house tenants will be threatened with or face eviction for the non payment of water charges.
It emerged yesterday that Wicklow County Council has told households on its Rental Accommodation Scheme that they could be kicked out for not paying the charges.
But Donegal County Councillor Patrick McGowen says no such threat will be issued in this county:
