Donegal win but Inishowen suffer defeat in Oscar Traynor

footballIt was a mixed day for the North West leagues in the Oscar Traynor Inter League Trophy.
The Donegal League won there opening game 2-1 against Cavan Monaghan while The Inishowen League lost 2-1 to Sligo Leitrim.
Doneal took the lead in their game at Bonagee with a 14th minute penalty converted by Richie Moore.
Benny Mc Laughlin made it 2-0 in the second half before the visitors scored their only goal.
Inishowen will be heading back home disappointed after losing at McSharry Park.
Sligo Leitrim were 2-0 up before Ciaran Mc Daid scored Inishowen’s goal with about 20 minutes to go.
Donegal and Inishowen will meet in the second series of games on the 19th November.
