Varadkar says LGH is not unique as overcrowding is raised in Dail

The issue of overcrowding at Letterkenny General Hospital has been raised in the Dail.
On a number of occasion in the past month the hospital has not been able to accept new medical patients as there has been a shortage of medical registrars at the hospital.
While figures released earlier this year by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation showed the hospital as the most overcrowded in the country.
Speaking in the Dail, Deputy Pearse Doherty said currently the hospital isn’t meeting the needs of the people…………..

Responding the Health Minister, Leo Varadkar said that every hospital around the country experiences overcrowding at some point…………..
