Cockhill Celtic beat Letterkenny Rovers 4-3 in today’s FAI Intermediate Cup clash in Buncrana.
By the 35th minute Cockhill were 2-1 with a brace from Garvan Friel while BJ Banda scores for Rovers.
The home team went 3-1 at the start of the second half through a Gerry Gill goal but Letterkenny squared the game with two goals from Stevie Okapu.
Hat-trick hero Friel stepped up two minutes from time to score the game winning goal which put Cockhill into the next stage of the competition and extend the season once again for the Inishowen side.
