There has been some speculation this morning about a possible delay to the Donegal Senior Football Chanmpionship Final on Sunday between St Eunan’s and Glenswilly.

According to the Donegal Post newspaper, the Naomh Conaill Club has been considering an appeal to last weekend’s semi-final defeat against Glenswilly.

During the latter stages of the match, Glenswilly’s Ciaran Bonner received a black card and was replaced by Oisin Crawford who subsequently kicked a point. Glenswilly went on to win the match.

Naomh Conaill maintain that Bonner should have been shown a red card.

If an appeal is lodged it will have to be done so today to the Donegal Hearings Committee.
