Donegal County Board turn down Noamh Conaill appeal

Dr Maguire
This weekend’s Donegal Senior Football Championship Final between Glenswilly and St Eunan’s will go ahead after Noamh Conaill’s appeal was turned down.
The Donegal County Board last night heard the appeal on the incident where Glenswilly’s Ciaran Bonner should have received a red card but instead got a black card in the closing stages of last Sunday’s semi final in Letterkenny.
His replacement Oisin Crawford went on to score one of the two matching winning points for the defending champions.
The board turned down the appeal but if Noamh Conaill want to take the case to Ulster they have three days to do so.
Clubs in the county will be notified in writing today with the details on why they turned down the appeal.
As things stand this morning, the 2014 show piece of Donegal GAA will go ahead as planned this Sunday at 4pm.
There will be full live coverage of the game on Highland Sunday Sport.
