Noamh Conaill to meet on failed appeal and possible next step

gaa footballNaomh Conaill will meet tonight to discuss their appeal which was turned down by the Donegal County Board to have their semi-final with Glenswilly replayed and will also decide if they will go to the provincial body with the issue.
They were informed in writing this afternoon with the reason why their appeal failed.
It centered around a yellow card to Glenswilly player, Ciaran Bonner, and a subsequent black card which should have seen him sent off without a replacement.
The Glenties club can appeal the County Board decision to the Ulster Council and ultimately to the GAA’s hierarchy in Croke Park.
Meanwhile, Glenswilly have appealed both the black card awarded to Bonner and the straight red card shown to team captain Caolan Kelly late on.
Those appeals were formally lodged with the relevant authorities last night.
