Police are continuing their enquiries following a major car crime spree spanning the Strabane District last week.
Between Thursday night last and Sunday morning, police received more than 20 reports that cars in Sion Mills and Strabane had been broken into.
It brought the total number of vehicles targeted in recent weeks to almost 30.
Over twenty vehicles were broken into in Strabane and Sion Mills between Thursday and Sunday last week.
Three vehicles were entered and searched through on Thursday evening. Later in the night, reports were received that other cars were entered at Ashbrook and Whin View in Strabane.
On Friday other incidents were reported at Evish Heights, Chestnut Grove, Glenevish Heights, Mount Carmel Heights, Urney Road and Lampton Court, while there were reports of break-ins in the Paddocks and Linen Green areas of Sion Mills.
A 21-year-old man was arrested and it is understood he was apprehended as he attempted to break into a vehicle at Grangewood.
He was arrested on suspicion of theft, attempted theft and vehicle interference to 29 different cars.
Follow up searches conducted by the PSNI also led to the detection of Class A drugs.
The man was later bailed pending further enquiries.
