A stand-off between Irish Water meter installers and locals in Crolly has ended.
The stand-off was peaceful but has been described as tensious.
The Irish Water engineers left the scene at 11 o’clock.
Local Councillor Marie Therese Gallagher was at the scene – she says many people in the area are opposed to the installation of meters:
