The 19th annual National Science Week kicks off this week.
Over 800 events will take place in Donegal, and across the country this week aiming to entertain, educate both young and old alike with the power of science.
An exhibition begins today in St Mary’s National School Stranorlar which will provide science activities for pupils and is running until Friday.
Coordinated by SFI Discover, the education and public engagement programme of Science Foundation Ireland, Science Week is aimed at engaging with young people and inspiring them to study and take up careers in the exciting fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
It also seeks to motivate people of all ages to engage with science disciplines at home, in the classroom and at work.
