At the current rate of investment it would take Donegal County Council 200 years to clear its social housing waiting list.
That’s according to Cllr Ian McGarvey who is calling on the council to implement a new House Building Policy to tackle the issue.
He says just ten units of social housing will be built by the council next year, and a new initiative is needed to increase that substantially………
