Harrington ends four year winning drought

padraighead_472x600_0  Padraig Harrington ended a four-year victory drought with a two-shot win over Thailand’s Thanyakon Khrongpha at the Indonesia Open.
The triple major champion had not won a full field tournament since 2010, and had dropped to 385 in the world rankings.
The popular Dubliner said he hoped the win would spur a return to winning ways.
Harrington had taken a four-shot lead into the final day’s play but a double-bogey by the Irishman on the 17th hole handed Khrongpha the initiative.
Harrington fought back to level the score before Khrongpha found the water on the 18th hole.
Harrington then hit a fine shot with a six iron and that paved the way to victory.
