Deputy Pearse Doherty says calls regarding overcrowding at LGH falling on ‘deaf ears’

Letterkenny General HospitalA Donegal Deputy has said that warnings about overcrowding at Letterkenny General Hospital is continuing to fall on deaf ears.
Deputy Pearse Doherty has criticised the Government’s handling of the situation at the Emergency Unit of the Hospital.
Across the country yesterday 563 patients were waiting for a bed in emergency departments, with 20 patients on trolleys at Letterkenny General.
