€150,000 has been granted to Donegal County Council to help develop artists workplaces in Lurganboy, Donegal Town.
This funding has been allocated under the Artist Workspaces Scheme which is a €6m capital investment scheme for Local Authorities to enable them to provide additional capacity and availability of artist workspaces in their regions.
The scheme has no closing date and will remain open until the funding is exhausted.
The other authorities granted funding under the scheme in the most recent round were Carlow and Wexford County Council.
