Kylie Minogue is to headline a major outdoor show in London’s Hyde Park this summer.
She will top the bill for one night of the British Summer Time event, alongside a line-up which features Grace Jones and Nile Rodgers with Chic.
Kylie’s appearance was announced after she was named Australian Of The Year in The UK at a ceremony in London at the weekend, during the annual Australia Day Gala.
Already announced for other shows in the Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park series have been Taylor Swift and The Who.
Can’t Get You Out Of My Head star Kylie, who will perform at the event on June 21, said: “I’m so excited to perform at Hyde Park this summer.
“I have great memories of playing shows there and am looking forward to doing it all again. Given the amazing artists performing and that it will be the longest day of the year, I can’t wait.”
The star is causing excitement with the forthcoming release of her collaboration with disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder, called Right Here, Right Now, which is currently the hottest breaking track around the world.
Some pre-sale tickets for the Hyde Park show will be available from today (January 26) but tickets go on sale generally from Friday at www.bst-hydepark.com.
