Tony Bennett will sing at Lady Gaga’s wedding.
The 88-year-old crooner has revealed he will be performing at the musician’s forthcoming nuptials to ‘Chicago Fire’ actor Taylor Kinney, after the couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day.
The legendary crooner said: “They invited me to do it and, of course, I will.”
Tony, who collaborated with the 28-year-old singer on an album of jazz classics titled ‘Cheek to Cheek’ last year, was quick to praise the couple – who have dated for more than three years – and their blossoming relationship.
When asked what he thought of the wedding, he said: “I love it.
“She’s marrying a very wonderful man, very talented and very handsome. I think he’s going be highly successful in films. He’s a very nice person.”
However, the 18-time Grammy Award winner – who has been married to his third wife, Susan Crow, since 2007 – was reluctant to spill any details about the ceremony itself, which will reportedly take place at the ‘Do What U Want’ singer’s $23 million mansion in Malibu, California, later this year.
Speaking to the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column at the First Time Fest closing party at the Gansevoort Park Avenue Hotel, he said, “All I know is, knowing Lady Gaga, it will be fabulous.”
