The skipper of the Derry -Londonderry – Doire yacht is in the city this weekend for a series of team building exercises, 100 days before the Clipper Round The World Race sets off from London.
31 year old Scottish yachtsman Daniel Smith says sailing the boat up the Foyle over the course of the race is going to be a special experience, particularly given the importance of the yacht during the lead in to the City of Culture year.
Daniel Smith says this is an important weekend in the preparation for the race………..
