Tyrone defender Dermot Carlin has retired from inter-county football after 13 seasons in the senior squad.
He was a teenage member of the squad when the Red Hands won their first All-Ireland title in 2003.
His departure leaves Sean Cavanagh as the only remaining link with the maiden All-Ireland winning side.
Killyclogher clubman Carlin won an All-Ireland minor medal in 2001, and less than two years later, he was drafted into the senior squad.
Carlin is the seventh player to leave Mickey Harte’s set-up in recent weeks. Two weeks ago, Ryan McKenna decided to opt out, following in the footsteps of his brother Emmet, Paddy McNeice, Dwayne Quinn, Paddy, PJ Lavery and Shay McGuigan.
