Car burnt out in Bogside area of Derry

 

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service are treating a fire that destroyed an abandoned car as deliberate.
The incident is said to have occurred at around half past three this morning.
The NIFRS received a report of a car on fire in the Joseph Place area of the Bogside and the incident was brought under control shortly before 4 o’clock this morning.
The car was taken from the Galliagh area of Derry at around midnight last night.
The incident has been passed onto the PSNI for investigation and they are appealing for witnesses to either the car being taken or set alight.
