Cork City captain Johnny Dunleavy, who hails from Ballybofey, has spoken of his side’s disappointment after they were beaten in the Irish Dail Mail FAI Cup Final by Dundalk.
The Lilywhites lifted the title and completed a league and cup double after Richie Towell scored the only goal in extra-time after it has finished 0-0 after 90 minutes.
Dundalk were captained by Stephen O’Donnell, whose father comes from Dungloe.
Dunleavy felt they were well in the game for most of the match.
