Gardai in Donegal are advising business and home owners to be on the alert over the Christmas period.
Proprietors are being urged to review their security systems and to be on the lookout for suspicious activity over the festive season as Gardai say this is a busy time of year for criminals in the county.
Homeowners have also been advised to carry out a review of their security in and around the home to keep the possibility of burglaries to a minimum.
