The Can’t Pay Won’t Pay campaign is calling on people to uphold the boycott on water charges and to consider their options carefully in the run up to the upcoming general election.
The group is hoping the Election will bring about a new Government that supports the boycott of water charges but if that does not materialise they are asking people to only vote for candidates who support it.
Spokesperson for Can’t Pay Won’t Pay Donegal, Liam Whyte is hopeful a boycott will defeat the water charges entirely as he believes strong opposition will make it impossible for the new Government to implement:
