Blow for Armagh as Jamie Clarke to return to USA

Jamie Clarke will not be part of the Armagh squad this year.
Manager Kieran Mc Geeney has confirmed the star forward will not committ to the Orchard County but will return to the United States when Crossmaglen’s All Ireland campaign ends.
Clarke had spent most of the summer in New York before coming back home to help Cross win the Ulster Club title.
They play Castlebar Mitchells in the All Ireland Semi Final on 13th February and if they come through that tie they’ll head to Croke Park for the final on St. Patricks Day.
His decision to head back across the Atlantic will be a blow to Armagh’s hopes of a solid championship run this year.
