Meeting arranged to discuss cross-border approach to flooding in the North West

The issue of flooding in east Donegal will be discussed at a multi agency meeting in Dublin next week.
Minister Joe McHugh has called hte meeting in response to flooding in areas including Castlefin, Ballybofey and Lifford.
Among those attending will be the Council CEO, representatives from the Office of Public Works, The National Parks and Wildlife Service and the Loughs Agency.
Minsiter McHugh says he is also requesting a meeting with the North’s Environment Minister Mark H Durkan to see if a combined effort can be made to help the communities effected:
