Met Eireann Orange snow warning extended into Friday

Met Eireann has extended its Orange weather warning for snow and ice  for counties Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo until Friday afternoon.

Forecasters expect between 4 and 8 centimetres of snow tomorrow.
High ground will be worst affected.
The status Orange warning is in effect until Friday 15 January 2016 12:00.
Snow has began to fall in some areas of the Northwest and is accumulating worsening driving conditions.
