The Taoiseach Enda Kenny will meet with the British Prime Minister David Cameron in London later.
The possibility of a British exit from the EU is expected to top the agenda.
It comes after the UK Ambassador to Ireland Dominick Chilcott admitted that Ireland would be the country most affected by a UK exit from Europe, while SDLP leader Colum Eastwood said last week the potential “Brexit” is the biggest immediate threat to Northern Ireland’s economy.
