A Donegal Election Candidate is urging people in the Finn Valley to attend Thursdays meeting about the future of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stranorlar.
Last week, The Health Minister said he couldn’t give ‘any cast iron guarantees’ on the future of St Joseph’s Hospital in Stranorlar, Lifford Hospital or the Ramelton Community Nursing Unit. He would not commit to long stay residential nursing care in the facilities, after a government press release last week indicated that would be centralised in a new unit in Letterkenny.
The meeting to discuss St Joseph’s takes place on Thursday evening in the Finn Valley Centre, Independent Candidate Tim Jackson is urging people to attend……..
