A policewoman has been charged with a number of offences in connection with the murder of a County Derry man last month.
28 year old James McDonagh from Castledawson died in hospital in January from head injuries after being assaulted outside a nightclub in Toomebridge.
The Belfast Telegraph says the 33 year old officer faces two counts of perverting the course of justice and a charge of withholding information.
She will appear at Magherafelt Magistrates’ Court later this month.
