Horgan targets enough points to stay up

The new SSE Airtricity League of Ireland season starts this evening
And Finn Harps – back in the Premier Division – will meet Derry City in front of another bumper crowd at Finn Park.
Harps of course,were promoted after a memorable play-off victory over Limerick back at the beginning of November and their fans will be hoping their team can get off to a good start – especially against their north west neighbours
Both teams are expected to include a number of their new signings – Harps will be without the injured Josh Mailey while Packie Mailey is a fitness concern
Harps boss, Ollie Horgan is hopeful of picking up enough points to stay up….

There’s three other games taking place across the country.
Last years second placed side Cork City host Bohemians while Wexford Youths first top flight match is against Longford Town at Ferrycarraig park and St Pats take on Galway United.
Champions Dundalk play Bray Wanderers on Saturday night along with Sligo Rovers hosting Shamrock Rovers.
