Road closed between Ballybofey and Donegal Town following overnight collision

The road between Ballybofey and Donegal Town is closed this morning following an overnight collision close to John Campbell’s Joinery near Mc Groary’s Brae.
Traffic in Donegal Town is diverted at Lidl, and traffic from the Ballybofey side is being diverted via the back roads over the Derg Line.
Gardai say council signage is in place, and the road is expected to be closed for much of today.
Gardai have not released any details of he nature of the collision, or the extent of any injuries.
