Phase two of the Malin head project has been given the green light following confirmation that funding of €400,000 will be received by Donegal County Council within the week.
The work will go to tender in the next couple of weeks and once that is finalised, works including toilet facilities and an additional car park will get underway.
It has also believed a number of discussions have taken place in relation to phase three of the development.
