Raphoe Senior Ladies promoted to Ulster Premier Division

Raphoe Ladies will be playing Premier Division Hockey next season.
The club received confirmation today from Ulster Hockey that they have been moved up to the top flight for the first time in their history.
After finishing second in Senior 1, Raphoe were due to play Portadown in a promotion relegation play off but with Belfast Harlequins moving up to the Irish Hockey League, Portadown got to stay in the Premier and Raphoe were awarded place of Harlequins.
The ladies have been making great strides in recent years and the promotion is their third in three seasons.
Next season will be an exciting time for the club with both the men and ladies from Raphoe playing in the Premier Divisions.
