Manus Kelly and Donal Barrett say their excited about competing in this weekend’s Joule Donegal International Rally.
Having driven a Mark II Escort to National success in 2015, the all Donegal crew have stepped up to wrc level this year, hiring a Subaru S12b from Melvyn Evans Motorsport.
Prep for the rally couldn’t have gone any better with Manus steering the car to victory in the recent Carlow Stages Rally.
The car is the same spec as Gary Jennings Subaru but Manus’ main targeting is getting himself and Donal back to the finish ramp on Sunday at the Mount Errigal Hotel.
Oisin Kelly was out and about this week to get the thoughts of Manus and Donal ahead of another Donegal Rally.
