Council to prepare Brexit implications report for Taoiseach’s department

The Taoiseach will attend an extraordinary meeting of the British Irish Council in Wales today.
Enda Kenny will meet the First Minister for Wales, Carwyn Jones.
The implications of Britain leaving the European Union will top the agenda.
The North’s First Minister, Arlene Foster and the Chief Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon will also attend today’s talks.
Meanwhile, the Taoiseach has asked Donegal County Council to prepare a report on the potential impact of Brexit on the county, to be given to a special unit he is establishing within his department.
Mr Kenny made the request during a meeting this week with Cathaoirleach Cllr Terence Slowey and Chief Executive Seamus Neely.
