It’s been confirmed by the Housing Executive that Greenbrae Park just outside Strabane has been closed down.
The PSNI along with the contractors from the Housing Executive cleared and closed the traveller halting site in the past few days.
It’s understood that there have been efforts to shut down the site for the last number of years due to inadequate facilities in the area.
Despite reports that the site will reopen again in the future, Local Councillor Patsy Kelly believes the closure is permanent…………
