Secondary teachers have admitted they’re running out of time to avert next week’s strike.
Thursday the 27th will mark the first of seven days that teachers will walk off the job in a row over pay for new staff.
A meeting with the Department of Education today provided little progress.
The two sides will meet again on Monday to try and reach a solution but ASTI President Ed Byrne isn’t optimistic:
There are in total 27 post primary schools in Donegal. The 15 schools under the management of Donegal ETB and who will not be affected by the strike actions are:
