Donegal Flood Management Plans go to public consultation today

Public Consultations are taking place today on Flood Risk Management Plans for Donegal, one in Donegal Town, the other in Dungloe.
Members of the public are being asked to express their views on measures being proposed to address known flood risks across the county.
The consultation event in Donegal will cover areas Donegal Town, The Twin Towns, Ardara, Killybegs, Glenties and Bundoran and will run from 2 until 7pm today in the Donegal Public Services Centre.
Meanwhile in the Dungloe public Services centre, the consultation event there will cover Dunfanaghy, Bunbeg – Derrybeg, Ardara, Glenties and Dungloe. It will also run from 2- 7pm today.
The OPW says that it wants to give local people the opportunity to comment on the draft Flood Risk Management Plans before they are finalised and are urging people to attend to make their opinions known.
